Mike James joined RR for NIL and marketing opportunities for 2021 season. James is currently enrolled at the University of Louisville where he committed to play basketball as a 4-star recruit. He hails from Orlando, Florida where he played his high school career at Oak Ridge and averaged 19.4 ppg, 10.8 rpg, and 1.2 blks. Throughout high school, he was able to rack up the awards having won the Orlando Sentinel’s Player of the Year in 2021. He was also voted by numerous coaches around Florida as the Class 7A Player of the Year. On the recruiting map, James was ranked the number 18 player in Florida as well as the number 18 small forward in the country. James also cracked the top-100 recruiting list as the 77th ranked player in the country.
