Bakari Evelyn joined the RR team in September of 2021. Evelyn is from Southfield, Minnesota where he attended South Field Christian High School. He capped off his high school career as the number seven ranked point guard in Minnesota and a three-star prospect. Evelyn committed to the University of Nebraska where he played 17 games before transferring to Valparaiso University where he played two seasons and averaged 10.5 ppg, 2.7 rpg, and 2.5 apg. Following his junior season, Evelyn made his way to the Big 10 where he played his senior season for the Iowa Hawkeyes in 2019-2020.
